Most Acupuncturists in the U.S. are licensed, or certified, depending on the state law. In states where acupuncture is credentialed practitioners must have completed at minimum a graduate degree program.
Salaries for acupuncturist in the U.S. vary greatly. Coastal states tend to reflect higher wages most likely because acupuncture was recognized and accepted earlier on in those regions. Additionally, many acupuncturists start their own businesses and suffer from the same startup growing pains as any other small business.
As for treatment prices, this also varies greatly on numerous factors. Location, cost-of-living rates, insurance coverage, and local market all influence the base prices. You would need to call around your area to answer this question.
